The following article helps to quell that doubt with a nice list outlining some of the essentials that must be taken into account when organising group travel:
It’s well worth a read if you find yourself in the position of tour organiser or coordinator. Even if you’re a solo traveller or are responsible for organising the next trip for the family and friends, there are some excellent takeaways outline in the article.
Many thanks to the honourable Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Graham Quirk, for your supports and kinds words about the Study Tours Brisbane program coordinated by Robertson Gardens. More info on the program can be found here: http://studytoursbrisbane.com.au/
The following infographic showcases an interesting look at some of the statistics sourced from recent research by Tourism Australia. Focusing on holidayers from China coming into Queensland, Australia, it’s a useful resource for travel organisers and coordinators alike, and a good look into the trends of the Chinese travel market into Australia.
Some of the interesting statistics that the article looks at is:
How many Chinese visitors are visiting Queensland for vacation purposes?
How do they travel?
What is the traveller demographic like for this particular group?
The infographic is sourced from Study Tours Brisbane who specialise in coordinating group study tours of Brisbane and the South East Queensland region. The city of Brisbane is a wonderful place to visit, with so much to see and do for all types of people. We understand that visiting a foreign place can be overwhelming, if not for the sheer fact that there’s not enough time to fit in everything on your wishlist. That’s why we have the Immersion Programme. Our aim is to listen to your specific requirements and work within your budget to create a tailor made tour that’ll exceed your expectations.
Whether you’re visiting on business or are travelling with a school group, from 20 – 100 people, for half a day to weeks at a time – no matter what you want, we’ll ensure your stay in Brisbane is truly unique. Just let us know what you want to happen, and we’ll make it happen!

For any interested in donating to the cause, please peruse the following from Carter’s Cause, an organisation whose mission is to help babies born with heart defects:
“Carter was only here for a short-time, but left a legacy that others may aspire to. Born with congenital heart defects, he fought for each of the 30 days we were blessed to share with him. His legacy lives on with Carter’s Cause Inc. a not for profit organisation raising much needed funds for HeartKids Queensland.
To ensure we can continue to help the 8 babies born each day with a heart defect we need your help. We are seeking generous prize donations; an item, experience or service that can be auctioned in our silent auction to be held during our Business Luncheon on October 14th. All profits raised on the day will go directly to providing services to children and helping families of children with CHD. We are seeking a wide variety of prizes and your contribution is very valuable to us.
HeartKids Queensland is a not for profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children affected by heart disease. One in every 100 babies will be born with a heart defect for which there is no cure. Since 1984, HeartKids has been offering support, encouragement and hope to the families of Queensland children with heart disease. They raise awareness and fund vital research into the causes of this chronic disease.
Should you be able to generously donate an item to help us raise much needed funds for HeartKids Queensland, please contact Sharon Curl at email@example.com or phone 0417 197 849. If you would like to know more about Carters Cause Inc., please visit our website www.carterscause.org.au Your contribution will be recognised during the event and through social media. Thank you in advance for your support of this wonderful cause and I look forward to hearing from you.”
