A Message From Carter’s Cause – Helping Babies Born with Heart Defects

For any interested in donating to the cause, please peruse the following from Carter’s Cause, an organisation whose mission is to help babies born with heart defects:

“Carter was only here for a short-time, but left a legacy that others may aspire to. Born with congenital heart defects, he fought for each of the 30 days we were blessed to share with him. His legacy lives on with Carter’s Cause Inc. a not for profit organisation raising much needed funds for HeartKids Queensland.

To ensure we can continue to help the 8 babies born each day with a heart defect we need
your help. We are seeking generous prize donations; an item, experience or service that can be auctioned in our silent auction to be held during our Business Luncheon on October 14th. All profits raised on the day will go directly to providing services to children and helping families of children with CHD. We are seeking a wide variety of prizes and your contribution is very valuable to us.

HeartKids Queensland is a not for profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of
children affected by heart disease. One in every 100 babies will be born with a heart defect for which there is no cure. Since 1984, HeartKids has been offering support, encouragement and hope to the families of Queensland children with heart disease. They raise awareness and fund vital research into the causes of this chronic disease.

Should you be able to generously donate an item to help us raise much needed funds for
HeartKids Queensland, please contact Sharon Curl at or phone 0417 197 849. If you would like to know more about Carters Cause Inc., please visit our website Your contribution will be recognised during the event and through social media. Thank you in advance for your support of this wonderful cause and I look forward to hearing from you.”
