We all love having a break; there’s nothing better than putting your feet up and relaxing at the end of a long day, and when you know you don’t have to go back to it the next day, it’s that much sweeter. Eventually, though, you may find yourself having run out of things to keep yourself (or those younger ones that depend on you) entertained. Fear not! There are tons of fun ways to keep the kids exhausted these school holidays, and you don’t have to miss out on the good times yourself. Here are just a few, all of which are very local if you’re staying with us here at Robertson Gardens.
Olympic Ice Rinks Ice Skating at Acacia Ridge – it’s the perfect answer to the sweltering heat and humidity outside. Public sessions 7 days, and super cheap at only $11 per person including skate hire. 119 Beaudesert Road, Acacia Ridge, ~10 mins from us.
Skyzone Macgregor – this is a twofer – not only does this place have an awesome, massive, indoor trampoline park, where you can literally bounce off the walls, but it also includes a 3-storey laser-tag battle arena. You can jump around for an hour, and then shoot it out for an hour, for only $21 per person ($19 if you’re a return customer and have held onto your special trampolining socks). 544 Kessels Road, Macgregor, ~5 mins from us.
AMF Bowling Mt Gravatt – line ‘em up and knock ‘em down. Who doesn’t love a good old game of bowling? Well, if you don’t, there’s an arcade as well, and if you don’t like that either (come on, now), Garden City Westfield Shopping Centre is only 2 minutes down the road. 533 Kessels Road, Macgregor, just across the road from Skyzone.
See, there’s plenty to do and it’s all in one spot! Go have some fun. 🙂
