Gardens Restaurant
Breakfast, seven days a week.
The First Meal
Start the day on the right note.
We think breakfast is the meal worth getting right. Ours runs seven days a week in Gardens Restaurant, early enough for a 7am site start and unhurried enough for a slow Sunday — a full buffet, plus a short à la carte list for the mornings when only eggs benedict will do.
You’ll find us fifteen minutes from Brisbane’s CBD, directly across from Griffith University, with ten acres of garden on the other side of the window. Staying with us or not, the table is the same one.
Serving Times
- Weekdays6:00am – 9:00am
- Weekends6:30am – 9:30am
Open every day of the week, including public holidays. Walk-ins are welcome — no booking needed for breakfast.
The Buffet
A wide spread, not a narrow one.
Everything below is on the buffet every morning, for one price — go back as many times as the day requires.
Freshly baked pastries
Out of the oven and onto the buffet — the first thing most guests reach for.
Cereals & yoghurts
The familiar start to the day, for the people who like their mornings uncomplicated.
Seasonal fruit
Cut fresh each morning, and it changes with the season rather than the roster.
Hot dishes
The full cooked spread, kept hot right through service — no last-minute scramble at 8:50am.
A spread of beverages
Juices, teas and coffee to see you out the door on time.
À La Carte
Or cooked to order.
Alongside the buffet, our kitchen prepares a short list of breakfast favourites fresh to your table. Ask your server when you sit down.
- Omelettes
- Brekkie Burger
- Smashed Avo on Toast
- The Classic Big Breakfast
- Eggs Benedict
Guests & Neighbours
You don’t have to stay the night.
Plenty of our breakfast regulars have never booked a room. If you’re a neighbour on Brisbane’s southside looking for somewhere to eat before the day starts — or somewhere to bring family that isn’t a queue and a paper cup — you’re just as welcome as the guests upstairs.
